Ichiko (苺子) is one of the main characters in the Japanese original anime series, Mayonaka Punch.
Profile[]
Ichiko is a member of the video channel "Mayonaka Punch". Although she often speaks, looks and acts childishly, Ichiko thinks of herself as a reliable older sister.
Biography[]
In the second chapter of the manga, it is revealed that Ichiko is also a vampire like Live, Fū and Yuki, with the ability to transform into a bat and back into a human whenever, has super strength (exampled when she lifts a car with ease), and can also fly with yellow luminiscent bat-like wings like the others. She was first introduced in bat form when she was in need of blood, though she shortly after turns back into human form when Masaki helps feed her by letting her bite her pinky finger (to which Masaki instantly regretted from the pain). After she, Live and Fū properly introduce themselves to Masaki, the three show her their popular channel and partake in more videos that show off their vampire abilities.
When Yuki arrives to deliver them blood and give them an update on how Mother was doing, Ichiko accidentally spills the beans on Live going to abandoned hospitals in search of blood, which causes Yuki to be skeptical about their secret and making Ichiko extremely nervous, but is comforted by Live while Yuki forces the latter to delete their channel as it exposes their vampire secrets to the public (although they dismiss it in their videos as "special technology") and how it would upset Mother. Later that night after Live and Masaki get rid of Yuki for the time being and after Masaki deleted their channel by Live's desperate request to avoid disobeying Mother from what Yuki warned her, Ichiko prepares to go to sleep when she and Fū wait for Live's return, and soon becomes delighted when Live and Masaki return. She also helps them create their new channel by trying to think of the perfect name for it, until Live comes up with the channel name "Mayonaka Punch".
